April 10, 1999 the Action Quake Developers Team (AQDT) officially releases their long awaited project entitled Action Quake: Espionage, code name AQ:E and commonly known as CTB (Capture the Briefcase).

AQDT was formed by a group of friends with the common interest in Action Quake and the desire to add more flexibility to it. They also wanted to give something back to the AQ community from which they are actively involved in.

From this desire AQ:E was born. AQ:E is a flexible, teamplay objective system for Action Quake. With AQ:E you can create your own scenarios and or use the current scenarios that we have included, CTB, ATL (Assassinate The Leader), ETV (Escort the VIP), and many more.

AQ:E can be downloaded from http://aqdt.fear.net. There are several files available for download, client pack as well as server binaries for Win32, Linux and Solaris platforms.
