All right! We're finally out. But now comes the hard part, finding the little bugs which just haven't been exploited often enough to come back to haunt us. So please, use this thread, or e-mail me at [email protected] Try to provide as many details of what happens (be it a server crash, disappearing object, etc) and when it happens, and we'll try to get everything done for the next version, where we'll start all over again. ------------------ IP: 206.130.189.209 |

If there's a mistake in the action.scp file Action will refuse to start, giving a "failed to initialise" error. ------------------ IP: 203.16.208.41 |

I don't know if that's really a BUG per se, but rather the way its coded, it needs that file to function. It's just as important as the .dll, and if that doesn't work action won't run either. Maybe we could make it that if the .scp file is corrupted, it reverts to scripts = 0, but really, if your .scp file isn't working, then you're not going to be able to run AQ:E anyway, so just fix the .scp instead. Yes, it's easy to fix when you look at it in hindsight, but it doesn't tell you the problem lies in the .scp... ------------------ IP: 203.20.76.4 |

Can you post an example of an action.scp that exhibits this behavior? IP: 198.78.58.217 |

Guppy, did you have an example of an action.scp that makes the server choke? IP: 130.18.15.88 |
