Hey, I got a question. I just got the Hauppage WinTV v4.4, and I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I want to grab video/audio from my VCR. Here is what is in the back of the VCR: Power, cable in, cable out, and audio/video (on top of each other). On the card, I have the coax cable in and what appears to be an a/v in(same color/hole type as the a/v on the VCR). Here is what I have tried: Cable to card: works fine, sound and video Coax VCR to card: Video is great, no sound A/V VCR to A/V Card: No sound, no video. If any of you can tell me how to do this, uhm, hmm.....I know, I'll send you the drivers to my WinTV card. Thanks. IP: 24.179.170.64 |

what if you get an RCA to minijack, and put sound through your sound card? :shrug: make sure you're getting the cables going right. are you sure that the 2 RCA jacks in are audio? they could be stereo left and right. (i think those are white and red... yellow is video). IP: 24.188.200.148 |
