Fresh New Update

Fresh new update with some news.

Tournament matches are still running behind. As we're winding down, I am taking down the schedule. We'll be playing it by ear from here on out, and I am in good touch with the final few teams right now.

State of the tournament;

Division A: Consolation Winners [20ID]God Inc., [20ID]Bizmarkie will square off against Bracket Winners [AMC]Deathmark and [AMC]Lost

Division B: Bracket Winners [awe]Fiction, [awe]Parasite will square off against Consolation Winners, who will be determined by the winner of the KidEGO/Flash{DS} vs Dobbs/Fireblade match against potshot/PACMAN.

Division C: Bracket Winners HoE.kramed, HoE.MikFly will square off against the Consolation Winners, who will be the winner of the Satan{DS}, MyzZeri{DS} vs Lineman, Micskill match

The new TOURNAMENT RATINGS are now up. Basically everybody in the tournament is now ranked. The method of ranking is listed on the page.

Brackets are also updated.

Basically, after this whole deal is over, there will be a TOURNAMENT CHAMPION, a TOURNAMENT RUNNER-UP, TOURNAMENT THIRD PLACE, and TOURNAMENT RATINGS CHAMPION.

A couple people have asked me how the elims will work. This is the text of an email I wrote a little while ago explaining this to someone.

The way the eliminations are going to work is as follows. If all the division champs are the teams that were previously undefeated, or if all the division champs are the teams are the teams that previously had 1 loss, then a random draw is done between all the teams to determine the team that gets a bye to the Final Round. The other 2 not-so-lucky teams play a single-elimination match to determine who goes to Final Round. If one of the division champs is undefeated, and the other 2 had suffered a previous loss, then the undefeated team gets a bye to Final Round, while the other 2 duke it out in a single-elimination match for the right to play in Final Round. If two of the division champs are undefeated, there will be a random draw between those two teams is done, and 1 of those two will receive a bye to finals. The other not-so-lucky undefeated team will have to play the 1-down team. That should cover all the combinations. :)

Additionally, you can find a copy of the ELIMINATION BRACKET now on the Brackets page.

Good luck to all!
