CPL Picks Quake 4

From the CPL website:
Today, the CPL is proud to announce that it is returning to its hardcore gaming roots by selecting id Software's upcoming QUAKE 4® as the primary one-versus-one competition game for the 2006 World Series events.

Quake 4 isn't even out yet and already the CPL is predicting it as an intense multi-player experience. Check out thier website for more information.
