New map and sky Posted Sunday, January 4, 2004 @ 1:56AM [EST] by GreyDeath It's been a little bit since I've last updated. A number of maps have come and gone, and it's about time I make one of them official!
After a number of submissions, The Edge has finally made it into the AQMD! It is a refreshing change from the usual city maps. It plays nicely with few players, and should be lots of fun with a large number of players! Check it out!
Also, I have added another sky to the skies page. This one is Morning Forest and is brought to us by myself! So check it out!
Stay tuned for more news!

Just a quick update! Posted Wednesday, October 29, 2003 @ 12:33AM [EST] by GreyDeath Remembered a couple of maps that are ready!
Knorv and Nine2 will make fine additions to the AQMD map list. I'm sure everyone has heard of them in the forums already. For those that havent: Knorv is a small symmetrical map, fun for death match, or for crazy team play. Nine 2 does a good job of recreating the mood of George Orwell's 1984. So check them out!

2 updates in one day? This never happens...
New Maps!! Posted Tuesday, October 28, 2003 @ 4:24PM [EST] by GreyDeath Well it's true! New maps hot off the compiler!
First we have Lundvall's Dive! It is a lovely map with a nice waterfall and some good texture work. This is also a first submission for Lundvall.
Next up, Bobert's Miner 69'er map! Mine is a mining colony smack dab in the middle of a rocky desert. Some nice terrain work done on the outside, and an impressive texturing job on the inside. This is definately worth a look at.
3rd, we have Lundvall's Storm. Storm is a winter city map with a nice Christmassy theme.
And last, but not least, Wizs bye, yet again, Lundvall! Wizs is very similar in style to Storm. However, this one is without snow and has a different layout.
All 4 maps are definitely worth checking out. Also, I have added a link to a new tutorial dealing with hint brushes. This is probably the best tutorial I have ever read that talks about hint brushes. Instead of only talking about them from a top-down perspective, it takes into account all 3 axis. This is a must read for all mappers out there. Check it out here!
Lastly, if you have a map waiting to be submitted, please let us know. You can tell us about it and provide a link to the map at the AQMD Forums.
GreyDeath out.
Map download links updated Posted Thursday, October 23, 2003 @ 12:58PM [EDT] by MP*Idle I did a quick update here - namely, fixed the map download links. Hopefully this'll lead to GreyDeath getting off his bum and give us some maps!
Oh, I forgot... We all know the *cough*quality*cough* and *cough*speed*cough* of 3DDownloads' services, so here are two links where you can get most of the maps available at the AQMD (unfortunately neither of those has the Uber packs, although Hugi.is hosts "alltheilaklabbid.zip", or "the whole shebang"): AQ2 maps (Finland) | AQ2 maps (Iceland)

Fixes and Updates Posted Wednesday, September 3, 2003 @ 7:40PM [EDT] by GreyDeath Well well well... After being gone for a few years, I've decided to come back and do some stuff around here! I've decided to fix a bunch of broken links, and patch up the site!
Well, that's pretty much it... I updated the FAQ, Staff page, fixed all broken links on every page that I could find, did a little house cleaning, and other tedious things. If I have tomorrow, I'll fix up Sinner's texture's page so there are proper thumbnails. And hopefully I'll release a map or two!
And I'm outa here!
